ABOUT ME

I am originally from a predominantly Latinx town in rural Central California. Fresh fruit, herbs, eggs, and orchard-lined streets marked my day-to-day.  Between church hymns and Christmastime school concerts, my love for performance started in choral singing which eventually lead to my 6th grade debut acting performance as Perla the Mouse in Cinderella Jr. I haven't stopped acting since. As a teen, I became interested self-aware, audacious, and sometimes grief-themed straight plays. Political statements through performance and queer art became a budding interest.

My professional acting career began in The San Franscisco Bay Area in pursuing my BA in Theatre & Performance Studies (with a minor in Spanish) from University of California, Berkeley. Here (and the summer I spent studying at American Conservatory Theater) is where I developed my love for acting, for theatre that imagines social change, and travel--finding myself in Europe, Africa, and South America.

As of Spring 2020, I am a COVID-era graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University where I received my MFA in Acting, 250-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Certified, and an Artistic Associate at Prop Thtr. As an actor, I've worked with companies across the country including First Folio, Broken Nose, Redtwist, SF Playhouse, Shotgun Players, Brava Theater, Eclectic Full Contact, The House Theatre, Crowded Fire, Berkeley Repertory, The Kennedy Center, Mirrorbox, Stages Houston, CATCO, Stage West, Keen Company, B8, and Theatreworks Colorado Springs. I am represented by Paonessa Talent Agency and Tim Angle of Shelter Entertainment Group. As a teaching artist artist, I've collaborated with About Face and DePaul University, and am currently a teaching artist with Writers Theatre.

Some of my hobbies include aerial arts classes at The Actor's Gymnasium, yoga, and tinkering on my ukulele. My favorite artists right now are Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and MJ Rodriguez. Pose, Euphoria, SNL, The Great British Bake Off, and The Owl House are my top five TV shows.
